We’ve been lucky enough to have this Bald Eagle family nesting high in a tree, across the street from our current campground in White Salmon, Washington. They are wonderful parents. These show the male parent feeding an eaglet.
Below see the female’s head between the male & eaglet. We think she was feeding the other eaglet on the other side of the nest.
The campground we are staying in is called Bridges RV Park. The spaces are close together, but most have a little grassy area. We somehow got lucky enough to get a space with a perfect view of watching the eagles. If someone were to ask me about this campground I’d have to say it is clean, has a nice laundromat and the staff couldn’t be more helpful. The highway noise is pretty intense, as you are right on the road and the logging trucks, etc. are continuous. But watching the eagles has more than made up for any street noise.
